   CENTRO CULTURAL BOLIVIANO AMERICANO

Somos una institución binacional autónoma y privada de carácter CULTURAL, sin fines de lucro, constituida bajo leyes bolivianas principalmente por ciudadanos bolivianos y estadounidenses. 
Nuestro objetivo es “estrechar e incrementar las tradicionales relaciones de amistad existentes entre los pueblos de Bolivia y los Estados Unidos de América, promoviendo la vida de relación e intercambio cultural entre ambos países, mediante contactos directos entre sus ciudadanos así como la de sus instituciones, organizando e implementando programas y actividades tendientes al intercambio cultural entre los dos pueblos, particularmente la difusión de sus culturas, historias e ideales y la enseñanza de los idiomas inglés, castellano, idiomas nativos y/u otros.
 

      El C.B.A. cuenta con una infraestructura adecuada para desarrollar sus actividades definidas en su objetivo, como ser: aulas para cursos de inglés y otros diseñadas acorde a los requerimientos pedagógicos, salas audiovisuales, salas de entrenamiento para profesores, biblioteca pública, salas de conferencia, áreas de recreación, sala de ballet, salón auditorio, áreas de recreación y de atención al público, etc.

 
Asimismo, dentro del plan de este año y luego de la adquisición de mayores espacios de terreno e infraestructura,
se construirán ambientes especiales que permitirán desarrollar y promover más actividades culturales y sociales, apoyando
así su misión institucional.

 

OUR SERVICES:

 

Children’s Program

Baby Talk (Children Ages 3-5)

We teach English through activities such as painting, paper crafts and others, in order to make learning a positive, entertaining and stimulating experience.

Children (Ages 6-10)

Our goal is to offer the highest quality language course to school-aged children, turning the general passive knowledge they receive in school, into an active understanding of English.

Our students are constantly ahead of their school counterparts and their success in school courses is commonly 100%.

Teen Program

Teenagers (Ages 11-15)

Our courses are divided in groups based on our students` ages and English proficiency level.

These small groups provide each student more individual attention and a higher level of active participation in class.

All communication within the class room is strictly in English. As a complement to their course book, our students are given reading material suitable to their level. We also provide extra-curricular activities in which they can apply and develop their learning in real-world situations.

Adult Program

Ages 16 +

Our courses are focused on communication in such a way that the student is able to participate actively in acquiring the necessary tools to efficiently speak in any given real-world situation within the professional and social environments. Our methodology is motivational and effective.

Private Program

For those who, for scheduling problems or other specific needs, cannot part-take in our normal classes, we offer private and personalized courses which are ideal for those who need to develop their English skills in a specific given area. Whether it is technical English, for work, or someone who is planning on travelling abroad and needs a refresher course, our course content is flexible and will adapt to your particular needs.

External Courses

External Courses are those where a teacher from the C.B.A. goes to a company’s facilities or other place of their choosing, to give our course in whatever frequency or schedule the interested party is willing to agree upon. The minimum number of students required for this system is one (1), and the maximum number allowed is twelve (12), all of which must possess a similar (equal) level of English proficiency.


International Tests

The Centro Boliviano Americano (C.B.A.), provides services in certifying English proficiency by offering a selection of tests, according to your needs, such as :

  •       UOL (University of London Test)
  •       TOEIC ( Test of English for International  Communication)
